Why Hawai'i?
Having grown up on Oahu, I always knew I wanted to get married on the beach. Though I have since lived in San Diego, Las Vegas, San Francisco and now Dallas, the distance has only made my heart grow fonder for the casual romance of a white sandy beach and a warm sunset.
I do have to admit that wedding location-wise, San Francisco gave Hawaii a run for its money. SF is very dear to our hearts since we met and lived together there--to us, it's the best city in the world and will always be our "other" home.
In the end, I wanted to share my childhood his family and our friends from the mainland. But really--just an excuse to get back to paradise!

Olowalu Plantation House
Classy, Casual, Beachfront--My Dream House with a Wrap-Around Porch
This venue was a no-brainer for me. I adore traditional architecture and wrap-around porches. Add the fact that it's on Maui and steps away from the water--beautiful! No scouting trip necessary.
